  • When you finally throw away that stockpile of old Watchtowers you couldn't place over the years. Yes, we all had a closet full of mags!

  Upon reading this quote, I instantly had a flashback to this hallway closet that I had in the house I grew up in that had all the Watchtowers, Awakes, and various other JW books. I swear those magazines always had this very distinctive smell to them. Does anyone else remember that?

  Loosing your Privleges and Scumbag elders

  so 9 months before i started pioneering, i had a hot and heavy moment with this player witness who was just trying to string me along and talked to a lot of different girls.

  we made out and he grabbed my goodies a few times you know the regular stuff all teens do at least once.

  anyways i never saw him again because when i refused to send him nudes he dropped me.

  I've always been a firm believer that the Elders get off on the details sexual encounters of young JW women. They love to get very explicit details. "So, how long would you say this young man groped your breasts and inner thighs?"

  I would ignore those scumbags. They only have as much power as you personally give them. Their "power" only exist in the confines of this insecure\corrupt organization.

  Meeting Days Felt Different?

  i dont know if it was the same for you, but for me when i was a jw meeting days seemed to have a black cloud hanging over them.

  on thursdays i knew i would be going to the meeting that evening.

  that i would be getting into my meeting clothes at 6:30pm, leaving the house at 6:55pm and be sat in the kingdom hall from 7:15pm-9pm, then milling around for about half an hour before finally getting home for 10pm.

  Pale,

  This post really hits home for me. Just reading the first few lines caused me to have flashbacks to how I used to feel when it was "meeting" or "book study" night. The whole day did have this overwhelming feeling of gloom. I remember thinking to myself, "If this is the truth, then why does it invoke such overwhelming dread?"

  i remember getting my ass beat .

  in 1987 / 1988 for listening to atlantic star.

  they had a song called always.. my mother sat me down anmd told me listening to music like that would just rile up my emotions and make me look for a girl to fornicate with.. like at the age of 10 i was going to take it to that level.. my mother later banned r and b from our home.... i find it all hilarious now, but a friend of mine actually sent me a link to the jw broadcast and said i had to watch this.. i told him there was no way, but he said just start at the 50:40 mark.. i do not believe that this is what the org is doing now???.

  i keep saying this is a bad place/policy to put all the time, energy and resources if you really do in fact care, or if you are just riding the agenda bandwagon: .

  an assault-weapons ban is irrelevant to suicide deaths.

  the large majority of gun deaths are suicides, and there is no credible argument that an assault-weapons ban will have the slightest effect on suicide.

  i am not really sure what to make of all this yet, its just coming out so who knows what is real and fake yet, but if its true it seems the news coming out about seddique mateen & the fbi is yet another bureua failure.

  as an informant for years mateen actually helped to clear his terrorist son of any scrutiny by the fbi, then he killed 49 and wounded dozens of others.

  this kind of crap is actually giving credibility to the wearers of tin foil hats .

  That would have only prevented him from "legally" purchasing the firearms. It wouldn't have addressed the underline issues that were the driving force for his actions. Granted, the indictment would have made it difficult for him to get the weapons through legal means, but it wouldn't have prevented him from purchasing the weapons through more unsavory methods such as black markets.

  This is something gun control proponents have a hard time addressing....INTENT. You can't legislate away someone's intent.

  I feel like the WT really shows their hand when they attack websites that are critical of them. If it's truly nothing more than "Bitter Apostate Lies," then why go through the hassle of taking legal action? I don't get it
